| What a day! I'm sitting here in the computer lab thinking about how much that I haven't updated xanga in a while. Sure, I need to get Yuna off of here, but...I can't just yet. Anyways, I just got through with my teacher interview and have NO idea how it went. I'm a little nervous because it was about 15 minutes shorter than I expected; Mrs. Andon said that may have been a good thing, but for now I have NO idea and am really nervous; in addition to my current worries, I have a midterm in English and I want an A on it (yay perfectionism...). The conducting thing I didn't really do, so I need to get some colored pencils quick! lol Other than that I have the dread Daphnis et Chloe rehearsal tonight. You must understand, all ye who read this, that Daphnis et Chloe is very Atonal...in other words, this piece has 1) no tonal center, or tonic and 2) Most of the time, our entrances come from notes which must be pulled out of the air ( or at least it feels that way...(^_^;) ) !! Well, in general, it's not ALL bad; I'm trying to do better in school in general (by becoming a perfectionist??), and so far, I think I'm on pretty good ends with most of my friends. I'm caring more about them (whether I express it to you much or not)... The only bad thing is the sleep factor; I'm not really getting much of it, and I wish I could say that I study so hard that I just go to bed late, but yay for AIM!!!!!!! In other words, I need to start managing my time better. Well, class is about to start, so I'm gonna get offa here. If you can send a kiss, love, or a hug, PLEASE DO SO!!! Matt will love it!! | Yeah, I haven't really updated in such a LOONG time on here; I guess I was a little scared or something...hehe Anyways, here I am, on a Saturday morning, and one of the first things that I think about is homework; is that bad? I mean, there are some things that I just need to get done right now; I'd rather buy a book... I actually just want to sit down for a bit, in the quiet, and read something. Ano...Nihongo no KURASU wa sugoi desu (Japanese Class is Awesome)! I've got an A in there...for now; I'm studying my head off; I'm so "bad," I've even started messing up the syntax in English..(^_^;) Jaa....(Oh well.) Ok, so school's almost started, and I'm just about ready to start classes. I've applied to a couple of places for jobs but no luck yet.

| Ok, so I'm working very little on my piano and voice things. Lately, I just feel drained and tired, and I haven't really done anything I feel to be productive. On top of that, I'm so...confused about a couple of subjects, and I need those cleared up as soon as possible before I go insane... I mean, it's not like bad bad, but it's still driving me crazy... If any of you could just...If I could just hear a voice or two, that would help A LOT..
On another note, I haven't really been home too much since school let out, and I sense that my parents aren't too happy with that. Also, I need to find a way to Oak Ridge on Tuesday to hear Sam play in a band. I REALLY don't want to dissapoint him either! He's soo awesome and doesn't deserve to be let down, especially by me...
It's not ALL bad; I'm working on the "Epilogue" in FFX-2; it's such a pretty, gorgeous piece of music... It's almost like my "friendship" piece, but that's another story..

| Music Camp is finally over. Of course, everyone had some difficulties is getting some work done. For example, the band I was helping with had tempo issues. I mean, camp has its ups and down sometimes, but we can all look back and say "Wow...It was worth it..." You don't have to take my word for it; ask any counselor who participated.
I had the percussion section of the junior orange band. Andrew, who is 13, is one of the most musical people I know for his age! This kid was amazing! I mean, he did try and show out sometimes, but hey, he's just a kid..lol Anna had a lot of musical experience, which for her, any percussion instrument she picked up was nothing for her. Lil' Wendy was one of the youngest kids there 10 or 11 I think. She kept beating herself up when she got something wrong; it took a few of us to keep saying, "Hey, it's ok to make mistakes..." When she did do something correctly, we praised her for it, and to see her face light up, well, to see anyone's face light up, is one of the most rewarding things ever...
I did meet some older people. Andrew, whom I've adopted as Lil' Bro number 34,400..hehe..talked with me and hung out with me a bit. AWESOME guy! The two senior girls I talked with for a while were Ashely and Caroline! Just.. WOW.. and I think Ash might be coming here next year!
As far as I go, I'm sooooo tired, and I feel there's nothing more I can do to get some more sleep... lol Waking up at 6:15 in the morning makes me wanna run and workout and stuff; I don't know why though.. I'm just weird like that..lol I DO wanna start getting more fit and cute and stuff.. Getting up early to work out wouldn't be such a bad Idea; however, I MUST start working on my voice and piano music if I'm ever going to succeed in music for next year; it's time for me to just get to it! | | |
